Floras Avenue provides flower hand-delivery service to the following areas in New York:
Huntington, Halesite, Huntington Bay, Huntington Station, Lloyd Harbor, Lloyd Neck, Cold Spring Harbor, Oyster Bay, Old Brookville, Centerport, Greenlawn, Northport, E.Northport, Woodbury, Syosset, Laurel Hollow.
For same-day deliveries we recommend that you contact us as early in the day as possible. Please note that for same-day deliveries, floral options may be limited by what we have immediately available.
While we cannot guarantee delivery times, we do accept delivery time requests. To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the "Note for Designer" field during checkout. We require at least two hours notice for a timed delivery; shorter timed deliveries are arranged at the shop's discretion. There may be a rush fee for certain timed deliveries (based on time and distance). For deliveries scheduled after our regular business hours, there may be an additional fee. We are closed on Sunday and do not deliver on most Sundays with the exception of all Holidays.
If you have specific instructions for the delivery of your gift of flowers, please note them in the "Note for Designer" field during checkout. In all other cases, if the recipient is not at home when we attempt a delivery, we will either:
Call the recipient to schedule an appropriate delivery time.
Leave a note on the recipient's door asking them to contact the florist to schedule a delivery time.
Leave the arrangement in a covered, secure area of the home (porch, garage, or other entrance).
Leave the gift bouquet with a neighbor and place a message on the recipient's door with this information.
We remain open and deliver on most of the Holidays, even if a holiday falls on a nonworkday - Sunday.
Deliveries sent to addresses where no one is present to accept the arrangement will be returned to our shop, and will incur an additional fee if we must reattempt delivery.
